Explore the right film for your glass.

More than a darker window.

Choose a film around what your property needs: thermal comfort, daytime privacy, a distinctive aesthetic finish, or glass shatter protection.

Solar control & UV protection

Florida heat and UV exposure can quickly fade hardwood floors, rugs, artwork, and furniture. Solar control films cut heat dramatically, reducing AC strain while preserving natural daylight.

Privacy & blackout films

Ideal for street-facing windows, bathrooms, ground-level bedrooms, or conference rooms. Choose from dual-reflective one-way daytime privacy, frosted glass, or full blackout opacity.

Decorative & branded glass

Add custom frosting, manifestation bands, business logos, or privacy designs to conference rooms and storefront entrances for an elevated, professional appearance.

Clear safety & security film

Heavy-gauge clear security films help hold shattered glass in place during accidental impacts or severe weather, minimizing dangerous flying shards and deterring forced entry.

Which film fits your goal?

Every space has different lighting and privacy needs.

Solar Control & Ceramic

Best for: Living rooms, sunrooms, south/west-facing glass

Cuts oppressive Florida solar heat and glare without making rooms dark. Keeps energy bills in check and protects interior finishes from fading.

Frosted & Privacy

Best for: Bathrooms, entry sidelights, office partitions

Lets diffused natural light pass through while completely obstructing visibility into your private home spaces or executive conference rooms.

Clear Security

Best for: Storefront doors, vulnerable ground-level glass

Completely optically clear with no tint change. High-tensile polyester holds cracked or broken glass securely inside the frame upon impact.

At home. At work.

Architectural film options for residential properties, executive offices, storefronts, and commercial facilities.

For your home

Make sunny rooms comfortable year-round. Protect flooring, trim, and leather from relentless Florida UV rays while maintaining open views into your garden or patio.

For your business

Lower cooling costs, eliminate screen glare for staff, provide discreet privacy for meeting spaces, or install decorative frosted bands with your company branding.

Choose the film. Know the performance.

Heat rejection, UV protection, privacy, and glass compatibility vary by product. We’ll discuss the proposed film’s exact specifications for your property before the work is agreed.

Window tinting FAQs.

Answers to common questions about GeoShield architectural window film.

Does window tint go on the inside or outside of the glass?

Most architectural window films are installed on the interior side of the glass to protect them from weather and maximize longevity. Specialized exterior films are also available for inaccessible high-reach or specialty glazing.

Will solar control film make my home or office too dark?

It depends on the film you choose. GeoShield offers different levels of visible light transmission, heat rejection, and glare control. We’ll discuss the proposed film’s specifications and the amount of natural light you want to keep.

Is GeoShield film safe for double-pane / dual-pane windows?

The film must be matched to the glass. We inspect the window construction and check the manufacturer’s film-to-glass guidelines before recommending a compatible option for insulated or dual-pane windows.

How should I prepare for a window tinting estimate?

You can simply count the windows you want treated, note their approximate sizes (or take a photo of each wall), and let us know your main goal (heat reduction, privacy, glare, or security).
